Share a Message of Kindness

For years I have written books as gifts to other people: biographies, short stories, photo story books for young and old, and chapter books for children. Now with “Acadia Fairies, an Acadia National Park Adventure”, I’ve written a book for children all over our world. This is the first book I wrote for the purpose of sharing what is close to my heart. 

I believe that even though we are different from each other we can still be friends. I want children to realize that the color of our skin, hair, or eyes doesn’t matter; the way we celebrate traditions, pray or not pray, our various beliefs in God, our thoughts on politics or philosophies really doesn’t matter when it comes to how we treat each other.

So, I wanted to let children know that differences are okay. We can still respect and love each other, even help each other despite our differences. Therefore, “Acadia Fairies, an Acadia National Park Adventure” came alive.  Coming soon are children’s chapter book series: “Yellowstone Fairies, a Yellowstone National Park Adventure”; the “Grand Canyon Fairies, a Grand Canyon National Park Adventure”; and a children’s chapter book that’s based on a true story, “The Five Baluga Brothers and the Mysterious Stranger”. Each book has the underlying message that differences can be overlooked, accepted, and even embraced.

So, thanks to the hundreds of families that have given these books to children. Thank you for spreading cheer, joy, entertainment, and education to our children. I greatly appreciate each of your generous, kind, and encouraging efforts. By sharing these books with children, perhaps we can spread the joyful message of kindness.
